Hi, I'm Maia.
I'm an independent web designer and developer in Los Angeles. Since 2015 I've been building Squarespace, Shopify, WordPress and Webflow sites for small businesses — the kind where the owner answers the phone.
I work alone, on purpose. You brief the person who designs the site, who builds the site, who answers the emails. No account managers, no handoffs, no telephone game.
By day I also run operations in behavioral health — which is why the shop has a whole line of kits for therapists opening their own practices. I build for people who do the hard, human kind of work.
